Sub- genres
A sub genre for the film ‘John Tucker Mist Die’ would be something like kissing and hugging. This is something that is seen in many ‘chick flicks’ and is commonly used and is a typical technique. These are the kinds of things that the audience like teens enjoy. The film I am talking about show this a lot in many scenes and it is repeated throughout the whole movie. Another sub genre used would be happy endings; these again something that we see a lot of in teen films and is very typical and I think are over used in chick flicks. I think with the same typical things that they use they can become boring as what happens becomes very predictable in the films.
